“My body and soul are withering away. I am dying from grief …” Psalm 31:9-10 (NLT). So many of us have felt this way after the loss of a loved one, but we are not alone. We have the Bible to give us encouragement and comfort through our journey. Join us for a five-week Bible study as we explore what it says about grief. We will discuss the seven needs of mourning, focusing on embracing our spirituality. The themes for this series are grieving well, God knows suffering, anger, grief anxiety and most importantly, HOPE. We will use resources by Dr. Alan Wolfelt and Christian author Mike Nappa. Everyone will receive a copy of Mike’s book, Reflections for the Grieving Soul. You will need to bring a Bible, or you may use one from River House.
