Tuesday, September 22 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm Scarred Identity Opening Reception

Join us for the official opening of “Scarred Identity,” an exhibit in the IHM Motherhouse Art Gallery. The exhibit features collaborative and individual creative work from the Writing Club at EMU’s College in Prison program from Women’s Huron Valley.

Friday, September 25 10:00 am - 11:30 am Season of Creation - Water is Life

We will come together in a good way to share Anishinaabek ways of knowing around water and attendees can participate in water ceremony. We will honor niibi (water) as a relative and a life-giving force. We will learn how we can care for the water and what we can do each day to help the water heal for the future generations to come.

The IHM Chapel Concert Series, which brings together musical groups from across the Monroe community, resumes on October 18. The season opens with a Gospel Choir led by Yolanda Spain performing at 3:00 pm.
