Rosaline “Roz” Carbott, IHM Associate, died Sunday, June 13, 2021 at age 90. She is survived by husband of 64 years, Richard Carbott, IHM Associate; two children: Christopher and Ruthanne, and three grandchildren. She was the former Sister Ann Sarina Cosentino, IHM, entering the IHM Community at age 18. She attended Marygrove College, University of Detroit and Madonna College. Roz was a homemaker and worked at Michigan Bell Telephone as a service representative, Hartford Insurance Company in the Auditing Department, and at the youth service Bureau of Catholic Social Services, Archdiocese of Detroit. She taught at various schools throughout metro Detroit and enjoyed Christian service and parish work. Roz became an Associate in the IHM community in 1983, saying at the time, “It will provide me with numerous avenues to share the love of Christ with others. My faith living shall be increased and broadened.” She made a lifelong associate commitment in 2012.
