Showing Our Gratitude

The IHM community is blessed to have the support of so many friends throughout the world.

We are grateful for every gesture that allows us to continue our ministries and care for our retired sisters. Please know that we keep all donors and friends in our daily prayers. We also express our appreciation in other ways as well.

All Souls Day
It is a Catholic tradition to remember our deceased relatives and friends in a special way on All Souls Day. We invite our benefactors to share in this tradition. In August, they will receive a card and return envelope in the mail. This card will be placed in the Motherhouse Chapel during the month of November and those listed will be remembered in the prayers of the IHM Sisters.

Benefactor Appreciation Day
This annual gathering recognizes and celebrates our donors at a special liturgy and brunch. This is our way of showing our gratitude to those who support the life and mission of the IHM community.

Giving Societies
Our giving societies were established to recognize, with gratitude, the benefactors who have supported our congregation throughout their lifetimes. A recognition wall honoring our benefactors is located in the front foyer of the Motherhouse. We recognize our distinguished benefactors whose financial support and partnership have made a difference in the lives of the IHM community and those we serve.

Prayer Requests
We are humbled by the trust you place in us when you ask us to pray for a special intention and appreciate knowing whenever you, your family and friends need our prayerful support. We acknowledge every Prayer Request. While maintaining your privacy, we share your prayer needs with our sisters through a prayer prayer intention book in the Chapel foyer. Prayer requests are also listed on our prayer boards. On their way to the Chapel, sisters see the requests and pray for your intentions. Every Sunday, our benefactors are mentioned in the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass.
