Event: Proposed elimination of the Endangerment Finding
- Date & Time: Sept. 1, 2025
- Description: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed the elimination the Endangerment Finding – which provides the scientific and legal foundation for EPA regulation of climate pollution – as well as the rolling back of greenhouse gas emissions standards for cars and trucks.

Event: Protect International lifesaving and life-affirming aid
- Date & Time: Ongoing
- Description: Join Catholic Relief Services in telling Congress that we have a moral duty to alleviate poverty and reduce human suffering by protecting international humanitarian and development assistance. International assistance protects human life and promotes human dignity; advances U.S. and global peace and security; and fosters economic development that benefits U.S. taxpayers and people living in poverty around the world.

Event: New START Treaty
- Date & Time: Ongoing
- Description: The New START Treaty will expire Feb. 4, 2026. The impending expiration of this treaty increases the likelihood of a renewed nuclear arms race and the risk of nuclear war.
- Take Action: Follow the Back from the Brink campaign and click here to contact your Members of Congress asking them to support resolutions for a comprehensive nuclear disarmament framework.
Event: Enbridge’s Line 5 Oil Tunnel Project
- Date & Time: Ongoing
- Description: Enbridge’s 72-year-old Line 5 pipeline has spilled 1.1 million gallons of oil along its length. Enbridge now wants to build a massive tunnel through the Straits of Mackinac to extend its life.
- Take Action: Submit a comment to Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy urging a review of the Line 5 project here.
