The Justice, Peace and Sustainability Office for the IHM Sisters of Monroe, Mich., created This is Your Home, a three-part slide show funded by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
Part I – Setting the Context. Outlines the factors affecting Earth’s atmosphere from the origins of our planet to the state of the atmosphere today and lays the groundwork for understanding climate change.
Part II – What’s at Stake? Considers the environmental, social and financial risks of climate change and looks at the scientific evidence that ecosystems are breaking down and that impact on humans.
Part III – Making a Difference. Presents principles of Catholic Social Teaching and social analyses and offers specific suggestions of things people of faith can do to make a difference.
