Michiganders are used to winter ice, but ice storms ― a combination of freezing rain, sleet, ice and snow ― are out of the ordinary. Wednesday’s storm left thousands without power and school closings. The IHM campus was fortunate only to have a few tree casualties. The ice only lasted a few hours into Thursday and we were lucky enough to capture the beauty after the storm.
