Versatility for all: an art exhibit by Aaron S. Bivins

Take a virtual tour of the exhibit!

Aaron S. Bivins works primarily in acrylic, oil and watercolor and explores other media. His subjects range from landscapes, seascapes, florals, portraits, animals and homes. “By not becoming comfortable with where I am and taking chances when I paint, I will continue to grow,” says Bivins. He intends for viewers to “see” the portrayal with new eyes by using values, color and light.

His love for art began many years ago as a young child. Throughout his career, he has won numerous awards including several Best of Show and First Placements. His work has been exhibited in community and commercial gallery exhibits throughout the Northwest Ohio region, some of which were solo exhibitions. Aaron holds a B.A. in Art from The University of Toledo in Ohio. A former junior high school art teacher in the Toledo Public School system, Bivins now serves a painting demonstrator and conducts watercolor and acrylic workshops and classes.  Mr. Bivins is an Associate member of the Ohio Watercolor Society and Past-President of the Northwestern Ohio Watercolor Society. He is also a member of the Toledo Artists Club.
