Sisters, associates, staff and friends gathered on Thursday, Dec. 19, for the annual blessing and lighting of the Christmas Tribute Tree. We celebrated and prayerfully remembered the many tributes sent from our benefactors. Each tribute is recognized in a memory book on display near the Christmas Tree in the main foyer of the Motherhouse. The light and cheer the tree gave were a sign of the joy and thankfulness that filled our hearts.
The generous support we received will help us replace outdated room furnishings and mattresses. Upgrading these items will help create a safer environment, reducing the risk of trips or falls from unstable furniture. New mattresses offer better support, especially for those with mobility challenges or chronic pain. Replacing worn mattresses will significantly enhance sleep quality and foster a healthier lifestyle for our elder sisters. Any remaining funds will be applied to the area of greatest need and used where we need it most. We are truly grateful for the kindness shown to us during the Christmas season and thank our generous benefactors for their continued support.
