Linda Ferenczi, IHM Associate

Linda Ferenczi, IHM Associate, died Feb. 12, 2019; she was 62. She attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn for two years before transferring to Eastern Michigan University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in math. She was a life-long educator, teaching math at Bishop Borgess High School in Redford, Mich., where she also coached girls’ sports for three years. After a brief leave of absence, she returned to Bishop Borgess to teach, and later served as associate principal. Bishop Borgess became Covenant High School, where she also ministered as assistant principal. She was the director of guidance at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview and retired as assistant principal at Ladywood High School in Livonia. In retirement, she facilitated a women’s faith-sharing group at St. James Parish in Novi and belonged to a share-prayer group at St. Paul Retreat Center in Detroit. She became an IHM Associate in 1991.
