Compelling Questions in John’s Gospel for Us Today – Visitation

Saturday, October 17
9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Location
Visitation North

“Compelling Questions in John’s Gospel for Us Today” will be facilitated by Mary Ellen Sheehan, IHM, STD.

John’s Gospel stands in marked contrast to the Gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke. Its use of literary forms, such as dramatic narratives, discursive monologues and rhetorical questions, draws us into a deep experience of disclosure and intimacy with God. How do we grow into more loving surrender, practical love and wisdom? This workshop will set forth some central literary features of the Gospel and engage us in spiritually nourishing reflections.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Visitation Spirituality Center is following strict protocols. In order to guarantee social distancing, participation in programs is limited and it is therefore necessary to reserve your place in advance. All participants must wear a mask.
