We are pleased to honor Tom and Yvonne Larabell on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at the Detroit Athletic Club. Throughout their careers and now, in retirement, they continue to positively impact our communities and the lives of the underserved and marginalized. Their service in higher education and social service outreach includes St. Mary’s Parish in Royal Oak, U of D Jesuit High School, Marygrove College, Rose Hill Center, Malta Dental and Medical Clinic, Order of Malta, Capuchin, All Saints and St. Leo’s Soup Kitchens, Caritas and Pope Francis Warming Centers and Kenny Foundation. They truly make this world a better place to live.
The Theresa Maxis Award recognizes community leaders who embody the values and vision of the IHM Community: deep faith, pioneering spirit, service to the poor and commitment to justice. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Tickets are $200 per person and seating is limited. Proceeds benefit IHM ministries and the retirement needs of the congregation.
