P-20 Partnership announced

marygrove facadeMarygrove College will be the site of a cradle-to-career (preschool through graduate-level programs) educational campus, thanks to a partnership between Marygrove, the Kresge Foundation, Detroit Public Schools Community District, the University of Michigan, Starfish Family Services, IFF, Detroit Collaborative Design Center of the University of Detroit Mercy and the City of Detroit.

The exciting new model (one of the first of its kind in the country) and the partnership were announced at a news conference Sept. 13 in front of the Liberal Arts Building at Marygrove. This is a national model for investing in children and teachers as a way to transform a neighborhood. The school will be open to ninth-grade students in the fall of 2019.
